Medina Sidonia and its surrounding area offer you the opportunity of a trip through its varied and interesting history, visiting its archaeological sites, monuments, buildings and, of course, sampling its handicrafts and rich gastronomy. The rearing of thoroughbred bulls for bullfighting and rich game shooting in the country areas of the municipality, the typical terrain and vegetation of its countryside, including the "acebuchar" olive plantations, and an endless list of natural resources in the area offer a wide range of activities:

Its extraordinary and strategic location make it an ideal base for trips to the wonderful beaches of the Cadiz coast, including Chiclana de la Frontera, Conil de la Frontera and Vejer de la Frontera, all within 20 minutes or so drive from Medina. At a similar distance is the Natural Park of the Alcornocales, a unique place where you can enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of nature.
